Like most Moroccan cities, Sefrou hosts its share of cafes where you can enjoy a glass of traditional Moroccan mint tea or a rich nos-nos (half coffee, half steamed milk). Here are two favorites among locals and tourists:

Cafe Zahra El Jebal
Tucked away in Sefrou’s public park, Cafe Zahra El Jebal sits along the bank of the Aggai River. The area is a popular hangout for both young Moroccans and families. Nearby is a small petting zoo of farm animals which children will enjoy.
Cafe Bab El Maqam
A more urban scene, Cafe Bab El Maqam shares its name with the main entrance to Sefrou’s old medina. The cafe is open into the night and makes for the perfect stop after a nice meal inside the old city.
